Lucky you - it was misty here and grey anyway so nothing to see at all!
It was miserable rain here! I had glasses ready and all and ended up watching it on the computer!
cloudy as all hell in London! Ah well!
Wow it looks beautiful where you are! It was very grey and cloudy here, so didn't see a thing! Enjoyed watching it on the telly though!
Lucky you, glad I can now experience it via your photo! Was totally overcast here - and an hour too late, we had blue sky and sunshine!
We had a bit more cloud than you, but not enough to blank out the eclipse thankfully! Hope it is sunny all the way tomorrow for our final trip to Murrayfield :)
It was bright and sunny here in Cardiff. In fact too sunny- I tried to take a photo but the brightness kept fooling the camera. I do have a rather tiny image taken by my husband with his pin hole camera thingy. The TV pictures from the Faroes were something else though.
it was lovely here in Belfast when the cloud did eventually pass over. It felt quite emotional watching in the company of Dara O'Briain and the lovely professor Brian Cox. They kept me right! Left it too late to get my camera though, was afraid of missing it in the long walk from one end of the room to the other!
Very similar experience here, although without quite so much of that lovely blue sky that early! But the light was amazing and very strange at the same time, makes you realise how strong an effect such things could have had on people long ago who didn't understand the science behind it.
I was in a meeting and only managed to see the last few seconds! Silly meeting... Luckily a cloud moved out the way just in time.
